Delivery Riders and Drivers tax refunds

If you have a self-employed delivery job and have another job under PAYE, your employer must deduct tax on payments to you. This means you have to file a Self-Assessment Tax Return to claim your expenses as a delivery driver or rider to claim your tax refund.

Refunds

Where you pay tax under PAYE in one job and have a self-employed delivery job, and your combined income is below £50,000, a refund will normally be due because of the expenses and allowances of your delivery job.
